No. After surgery you will be under the influence of medications. It is dangerous to drive. If you do not have anyone to drive you home the surgery staff sometimes call a taxi. Tell the nurses in the surgery unit when you arrive how you expect to go home. For safety reason many doctors will NOT allow you to go home in a taxi unaccompanied.
