Insurance companies only pay for an ear pinback if it is not considered cosmetic surgery. Most doctors will give your insurance company documentation about your condition and are happy to write a letter to them. Usually your insurance company will not pay anything toward the surgery. There are rare cases where this is considered a congenital abnormality that warrants coverage.
