| Discomfort after a blepharoplasty is usually mild so if a patient begins to complain of serious pain it is usually a sign that something serious is going on. There are many causes of pain but the three most worrisome are corneal abrasions, acute glaucoma and retrobulbar hematoma. In many cases an opinion from an eye doctor is needed.
