- On the left is a patient before liposuction of the outer thighs. The saddle bags are clearly visible and persisted despite diet and exercise. Note that the patient is not overweight and is otherwise in proportion.
After surgery, on the right, the thighs are smooth with no pads of fat. The final result after liposuction may not be seen for many months and surface irregularity and swelling are not uncommon in the first few weeks after surgery.
